Naturum Öresund, for example, collects personal information when you start subscribing to naturum Öresund newsletter, book school programs, summer activities and study visits or when you register for participation in various events. Naturum Öresund may also process your personal data when you contact us via, for example, e-mail, telephone or Facebook. 

The type of personal data collected is normally name, e-mail address and mobile number. When registering for our programs and activities, we sometimes also ask you to state your year of birth.

5. What is the purpose of the processing of personal data?

The personal data collected is mainly used for administration and mediation of services, as well as for fulfilling a closed agreement. The processing of personal data also takes place so that we can contact you to, for example, answer your questions or comments, or if necessary contact you when booking services from us, for example. If you choose to participate in programs and activities organized by naturum Öresund , the personal information may be used for marketing purposes, for example to publish the participants' names and activities in the Marine Knowledge Center's digital channels. The personal data is finally used for statistical purposes, evaluation, quality work and to develop and improve our services and products. Please note that Naturum Öresund does not use collected information to contact you unless you have explicitly asked to be contacted.

According to the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we may not register your personal data without your consent. If you choose to provide personal information to us, you agree that naturum Öresund  processes your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

7. What is a cookie and how do we use it?

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer. This is used for you to experience the website in the best way.

Third-party providers display ads on websites. Third party providers use cookies to display advertisements based on your visit to this and other websites.

7.1 Why do we use cookies?

The cookies we use on smkc.se are used to be able to give you a better user experience and based on knowledge of how the website is used can make it even better. Cookies help us to make the content more relevant and simplify for you as a visitor. We also use cookies to be able to see the choices you have previously made on our website, measure traffic on the website and keep statistics. We also use cookies in marketing contexts, for example in so-called retargeting. Retargeting  means that after a visit to smkc.se, ads from the Marine Knowledge Center can be displayed on other websites that you visit.

If you do not accept the use of cookies, you can turn off cookies via your browser's security settings. However, this means that certain functionality can be limited (see section 7.1 “Why do we use cookies?” Above).

 

8. How long is my personal data stored?

We store your information as long as we are required by law to do so or as long as it is required to fulfill the above purposes of the processing.

Your personal data will then be deleted.   

 

9. Transfer

Naturum Öresund is the sole owner of the personal information collected. We do not sell this information to third parties. We also do not share information with others beyond what is specifically stated in this policy. Naturum Öresund will not, without your consent, pass on information about you unless applicable law requires it or it is necessary to handle your booking of a service from us.

If independent partners need personal data to fulfill nature Öresund offers, personal information is shared with them. When personal data is shared with third parties, they do not have the right to share this information further, unless required to perform the service on behalf of the Marine Knowledge Center or meet legal requirements.

10. What are my rights to information and correction?

You have the right to receive information about whether your personal data is processed by us, and what this data is in such cases. You must write to us yourself and request to receive that information. You have the right to request correction of any incorrect or changed information at any time. Requests for information about which of your personal data Naturum Öresund processes must be signed by you and sent to naturum Öresund per post or e-mail. 11. Change in the privacy policy

Please note that we may change or update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will take effect once the changed privacy policy has been published. We therefore recommend that you regularly check for changes before providing personal information.
